Keith and I ended up at the hospital last night. We had a scare with my blood pressure. It was the highest it's ever been and the doctor on call wanted me to come in for some tests. After a couple of hours and good test results, I was sent home. My BP went down a ton when we were there and I was told to follow up today at my appointment.
I went in today for the appointment. Keith went with me since we figured we'd be scheduling a day to be induced. They had me lay down before they took my BP today and that really helped. I got my lowest reading. It was no where near pre-hypertension levels. WOOHOO!!
The doctor today agreed with the doctor on Friday that LD is 8lbs. so we went ahead and decided that on Thursday, LD is getting his eviction notice!! I'm not dilated at all and they don't want him to get much bigger, so this is the best thing for us. We'll start everything on Thursday, but chances are, he won't be born until Friday. We go in at 4:00 pm on Thursday to get everything started.
This is crazy!! By the end of the week we're going to be holding and kissing our baby!! Keith and I are both really giddy!
