36wk appointment!

I went to see Dr. Kramer this morning. Everything is looking good as usual. I haven't seen her since my 17 week appointment and I forgot how much I love hearing her say "perfect" when she talks about stuff.

He's measuring right on track and my cervix is "soft and spongy". His head is really low. I couldn't believe where she pushed down and said that's where his head is. She said he's getting ready! Hopefully he'll come a little bit early or right on time. I go back again next Friday so hopefully she'll have more good news on his progress.

I'm getting to be more and more uncomfortable. I feel like I'm bopping LD when I walk up stairs. From where she said his head is, I probably am!! My legs and feet are swollen almost all the time now. They were really bad at my appointment and I was really warm. It was the worst I've been so far. Dr. Kramer told me to keep putting my feet up. Swollen feet isn't a sign of high blood pressure so she's not worried. If I was swollen through my face or chest, I'd have problems.

Keith and I are in complete baby mode for this weekend! We are going to Babies R Us tomorrow to pick up a few things we still need, I'm going to pack my hospital bag, we're installing car seats this weekend, finishing up hanging stuff in LD's pirate room, I'm going to wash all of his clothes, crib sheets and blankets, etc... We want to have everything done or close to being done this weekend since we're so close.

If I start my maternity leave on May 5, only 15 more days of work!! WOOHOO!!
