2 months!

Kyler turned two months old this past Wednesday. He amazes Keith and I every day. He's babbling a lot more now. He's also smiling up a storm. I love that I can cheer him up just by making a goofy face at him. He's so funny too. He lays on his Baby Einstein play mat and wiggles and dances and makes the best noises. He loves the light up star that plays music.

We went to the doctor for his 2 month wellness check also this past week. My Mother-In-Law came with because I knew Kyler was going to have to get multiple vaccines and I needed back-up!! Everything is good. Kyler is really strong and healthy. He weighs 13.6lbs and was 23.5 in. long. He's in the 90's as far as percentile for both. He did really good with the vaccines. He had 3 shots and one that was done by mouth. It must've tasted good because he really liked it! He only cried during the first and third shot. The second one he just looked at us. My MIL held his little legs while I tried to entertain/distract him with a toy. I think it helped that I fed him 1/2 of his bottle before the shots and then he got the other 1/2 afterwards. I'll definitely do that again next time. We go back in August for a 4 month appointment and more vaccines.

Kyler also got to meet his Great-Grandma Lucy this week. She's my Dad's mom. She took a bus with some friends from Green Bay to see a show and go to Gurnee Mills. Kyler and I met up with her when they were finishing up lunch. It was great to see her and I'm so happy we were able to meet up with them.
