Potty Time!

Big things are happening in the Loeffler household!! By that I'm talking about going pee-pee & poo-poo on the potty!!

We're not officially potty training, but we're close. I think he's definitely going to be in potty training bootcamp by the end of the summer. A couple of times recently, before his bath, he's told us that he has to go potty. One time we got a poo-poo & the other time he went pee-pee. Both were very exciting!!

Then, just a couple of days ago, he told me he had to go potty. It was in the morning when I was about to change his overnight diaper. He said, "Mommy, I have to go pee-pee." I asked him if he wanted to go on the big potty or his little potty. He told me the little one, so off we went. I took off his diaper & he sat down. He told me to close the door. As I was closing it, he went!! I think I startled him b/c I starting praising him like crazy!! "Oh my gosh, you're going, what a big boy, YAY Kyler, etc..."

The other times he just said he wanted to go. This time he told me he had to go & held it until he got to the potty. We were really excited & of course we had to call Daddy, who went to work early that day.

We also have great news from Keith. He accepted a new position at Walgreens. He's the Manager, Merchandise Strategies & Execution. I don't know exactly what that means, but it will hopefully give him a lot of exposure & lead to very exciting opportunities down the road. Kyler & I are very proud of him. His schedule is crazy busy right now & will probably be crazy on & off while he's in this position. He's working a lot of hours while he's tieing up loose ends with the old job & training in the new job. We knew that when he started interviewing for the position. It's an opportunity he couldn't pass up & is a wonderful career move for him. YAY Keith!!
